About TrialMath
What TrialMath does
TrialMath provides free calculators for common clinical trial planning questions. Each calculator shows its assumptions and how the result is calculated, so you can review it against your study plan.
Start with the calculator directory to choose a tool. You can also move between calculators using the links at the top of each page.
Using the tools
Understand the assumptions
Results are indicative planning estimates, not a replacement for the study protocol, statistical analysis or clinical operations review. In particular, recruitment estimates depend on the site activation and recruitment assumptions you enter; drug supply does not model expiry, IRT inventory or other supply-chain constraints.
